- An outline of the research of mangrove swamp environments in Southeast Asia and SW Pacific is described. The survey was carried out in 15 districts of 10 countries from 1980 to 2000 by six staffs. The research extends to many items and areas but lays emphasis on mollusks and mangrove pollen in island type mangrove exisisted in Singapore and Cebu of Philippines etc.
