The Reading room of Reference and Information work (RIW) is organized to help the users with all forms of bibliographic and information services.

There are also printed guides of Russian and foreign journals in the libraries of SB RAS and the country for all years.
Exhibition of Recent Acquisitions, including all the materials, obtained by the Branch of SPSL, foreign journals from SPSL fund and the funds of the institutes, guide editions from the funds of SBO SPSL, is demonstrated every week.
The change of exposition - at Tuesdays.
Since 1997, the Branch exhibits the books, obtained as deposit copy, by SPSL. The change of exposition is made on Wednesdays. The card-index of recent acquisitions remains in the reading room for year. Every month thematic book exhibitions in actual problems of science and technology, as well as those reflecting social life of the Country, are held. There is an archive of card-indexes of al topical exhibitions.

Bibliographers will show you the information apparatus, help to find the desired editions, consult you about all kinds of search, give you thematic and factographic information.
All days - from 9.00 till 19.00, at Saturday - from 10 till 18, Sunday - rest day. The last Thursday of each months - prophylactic.
