The Branch of SPSL SB RAS serves scientists and specialists of Akademgorodok and Novosibirsk,and students (from the 3rd grade). Reading hall resources include russian and foreign literature on
Time restrictions for books in the locally available storage - the last 5 years, for magazines - the last 10 years, for newspapers - the last 3 years.
Foreign periodicals constitute the main part of resources. Magazines, most frequenty ordered (Physical Review, Journal of Chemical Physics, Journal of Biological Chemistry, etc.), are available in the reading hall all issues for all years the Branch subscribed.
Library resources include general and specialized language dictionaries, encyclopedia, and reference literature.
If the book you need is absent, you may ask bibliographer on duty about it, and he will help you to order the book in the main storage of the Branch, SPSL SB RAS or in institute libraries of Akademgorodok.
Publications received with client claims, can be kept on hold at the reserve shelf of the reading hall for 15 days.
Publications of foreign editions Springer, Plenum , Wiley, Elsevier etc. exposed periodically in the reading hall.
Library is open from 9.00 till 19.00, Saturday - from 10.00 till 18.00, Sunday - day off. The last Thursday of each month is non-client day.
