SciGuide is an electronic navigator of foreign open access scientific resources on the Internet. The aim of the navigator is to assist users find open access academic and scholarly content and to facilitate science communication for researchers and experts of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS). The navigator is being developed jointly by the Branch and the Department of Foreign Collection Development of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS.

*Academic Database Assessment Tool (www.jisc-adat.com)*The JISC Academic Database Assessment Tool (ADAT) gives the detailed information on large bibliographic and full-text databases. The resource is focused on library community and it offers an access to largest full-text data files, e-book, and to bibliographic DB.
*AIST Database portal (aist.go.jp)*A portal of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technologies (Japan) that proposes databases of the scientific subdivisions involved.
*Australian Research Online (research.nla.gov.au)*ARO provides the access to 392,100 Australian research outputs, including theses; preprints; postprints; journal articles; book chapters; music recordings and pictures across the contents of Australian university and government research repositories.
*Eric Weisstein's World of Biography (scienceworld.wolfram.com)*Eric Weisstein's World of Science contains budding encyclopedias of astronomy, scientific biography, chemistry and physics.
*European Science Foundation (www.esf.org)*The European Science Foundation (ESF) is an association of 79 member organizations in 30 European countries.
*Infotrieve (Information Center Specialist) (corporate.infotrieve.com)*Access the most powerful database of scientific, technical, medical, and other scholarly content. Search through 26 million citations and 8.5 million abstracts from over 54,000 journals.
*InterDok (www.lib.umn.edu/indexes/moreinfo?id=13348)  ► Information about future conferences, congresses, meetings, and symposia in technology, medicine, ecology, and social sciences.
*ipl2 (www.interdok.com)  ► A portal of wide scope in the field of science and education that is supported by Drexel University's College of Information Science & Technology. It offers professionally selected (including international library employees) resources in the field of science and education for the diversity of users.
*NARCIS (www.narcis.info)*NARCIS provides access to 510,452 scientific publications (202,070 of which are open access publications), 13,843 data sets, and information on researchers (expertise), research projects and research institutes in the Netherlands.
*National Science Foundation (www.nsf.gov)  ► National Science Foundation is an independent federal agency that was created in 1950 by the US Congress to promote science. Scholarly articles in diversity of subjects for free download are presented.
*The Nobel Prize Internet Archive (www.almaz.com)*This site maintains information on all Nobel Prize winners in literature, physics, chemistry, peace, economics, or physiology & medicine since 1901.
*SciTopics (www.scitopics.com)  ► wiki-resource of Elsevier Publishing House for scientific community, a start-up site that reviews a broad scope of researches in the field of humanitarian and technical subjects.
