Sergey Alekseevich Khristianovich (1908-2000) is an outstanding scientist-mechanic, academician, one of the founders of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.

An electronic resource devoted to his life and work consists of the biobibliographic index, tables of contents of monographs and collection issues, full texts of some works of the scientist, and publications about him.

Biobibliographic index reflects the research works, editorial works, author's certificates on inventions and patents, publicist articles, and public speachs, together with the literature about the scientist.

Materials of the index are arranged chronologically into two basic sections: « Index of S.A.Khristianovich's works » and «literature about his life and work ». The originals that could not be seen de visu denoted with * (" asterisk "). The standard abbreviations are applied to the index.

The catalogues, stocks and electronic resources of the Russian State Library ( RSL ), the State public scientific and technical library of Russia ( State Public Scientific Technical Library ), Libraries on natural sciences of RAS ( LNS RAS ), VINITI , the State public scientific and technical library of the Siberian branch of RAS ( State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS ), and the library of the Institute of theoretical and applied mechanics of SB RAS ( STL ITAM SB RAS ) have been used in the work on the biobibliography.
