The academician Alexey Kuzmich Rebrov is a famous scientist in the field of physical gas dynamics, dynamics of dilute gases, and thermophysics.

Because of the scientific activity of A.K.Rebrov, S.S.Kutateladze Institute of thermophysics of SB RAS was among the leading research centres on the dynamics of dilute gases. A.K.Rebrov has created a unique vacuum gas-dynamic complex that was equipped with cryovacuum evacuation systems and modern diagnostic methods for gas streams, namely, electron-beam, molecular-beam, and laser methods. Together with his disciples, he performed the urgent research of non-equilibrium supersonic jet currents with effects of straightforward, rotary, and oscillatory relaxation, spontaneous condensation and radiation, as well as cluster properties. The scope of scientific interests of A.K.Rebrov includes urgent applied researches on gas dynamics of space vehicles and orbital stations, creation of resource-recovery jet superhigh-vacuum pumps.

A.K.Rebrov is the founder of the Siberian school of the researchers of dilute gas dynamics (several tens of doctors and candidates of science, more than ten laboratories that are headed by his disciples) and a member of prestigious national and international councils and committees.

The biobibliographic index reflects learned works, editorial works, certificates of authorship on inventions and patents, publicistic articles and public speeches, as well as the literature on the scientist.

The founders of the resource express their thanks to the collaborators of the library of the Institute of thermophysics of SB RAS and personally to Alexey Kuzmich Rebrov for the given materials to the bibliography.

When working on the biobibliography, we used catalogues, stocks, and electronic resources of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS (including the databases "Scientific-and-educational complex of Novosibirsk" and "Science in Siberia and in the Far East") and of the library of the Institute of thermophysics as well as Internet resources.

Materials of the index are arranged chronologically in two basic sections: "Index of works of A.K.Rebrov" and "Literature on his life and work".
