BIOBIBLIOGRAPHY OF ACADEMICIAN V.N.PARMON*INDEX OF WORKS

Academician Valentine Nikolaevich Parmon is the disciple and the follower of the academician K.I.Zamaraev, an outstanding physico-chemist and radiospectroscopy specialist, the head of several important directions in chemical engineering.

Since 1995, V.N.Parmon is the director of the G.K.Boreskov Institute of catalysis of SB RAS, and since 1997, he is the general director of the Joint institute of catalysis of SB RAS.

V.N.Parmon is the author and the co-author of about 600 scientific works that include 5 monographs in the field of catalysis and photocatalysis, chemical kinetics in condensed phases, chemical radiospectroscopy, chemical methods of energy transformation, nonconventional and renewable energy sources.

Valentine Nikolaevich makes a great scientific-and-organizational and public work. He is the editor-in-chief of magazine "Chemistry in Russia" (Russian chemical society - RChS), the Russian regional editor of the international magazine "Reaction Kinetics and Catalysis Letters", a member of editorial boards of "Russian chemical magazine" (RKHO), "ZHurnal fizichyeskoi khimii" (RAS), magazine "Kinyetika i kataliz" (RAS), as well as the international magazines "Chemistry for sustainable development" (SB RAS); "Catalysis Reviews", "Catalysis Today", "Cattech", "Industrial Catalysis News", "Catalysis Letters", "Topics in Catalysis". Titular member of the International union of pure and applied chemistry (IUPAC), the Russian national representative in European Federation of Catalytic societies (EFCATS). A member of the Presidium of the D.I.Mendeleev Russian chemical society.

The electronic resource that is devoted to his life and work is made up of a biobibliographic index, tables of contents of monographs, and collections of full texts of certain works of the scientist, and publications about him.

The biobibliographic index reflects proceedings, editorial works, certificates of authorship on inventions and patents, publicistic articles and the literature about the scientist.

Founders of the resource express their thanks to the collective of the library of the Institute of catalysis for the given materials on the biobibliography of V.N.Parmon, and also for the aid in working on the index of the works of the scientist.

When working on the biobibliography, we used catalogues, stocks, and electronic resources of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS (including the databases "Scientific-and-educational complex of Novosibirsk" and "Science in Siberia and in the Far East"), and the library of the G.K.Boreskov Institute of catalysis of SB RAS, as well as Internet resources.

Materials of the index are arranged chronologically in two basic sections: "Index of works of V.N.Parmon" and "Literature on his life and work".

Sources that we failed to see de visu have been remarked with * ("an asterisk"). Standard abbreviations are used throughout the index.
