Academician A.V.Nikolayev is an outstanding scientist-chemist, academician, the first director of the Institute of inorganic chemistry of SB RAS, one of founders of «Journal of structural chemistry». Development of science and productive forces of the country, and particularly in Siberia, is associated with his name.
Research of A.V.Nikolaev and his numerous disciples and followers in the field of chemistry and physicochemistry of extraction is of most great importance for inorganic and analytical chemistry. This work was conducted especially actively starting with the moment when Anatolii Vasilevich was appointed at the position of the director of Institute of inorganic chemistry of the Siberian Branch of AS USSR in 1957.
Chemist of a wide profile, A.V.Nikolaev has made a great contribution to works into study of films, obtaining of deposits that can be readily filtered, study of substance capture in coprecipitation processes, and into creating the theory of clathrate formation. He actively supported the development of recent trends, such as the study and the use of detergents, the application of high pressure in chemistry, study of equilibriums in solutions of coordination compounds, the search for coordination compounds with oxidizing and reducing ligands, synthesis of boron-bearing compounds, and investigation into chemistry of materials for microelectronics.
The electronic resource that is devoted to his life and work is made up of a biobibliographic index, tables of contents of monographs and collection issues, of full texts of certain works of the scientist, and publications about him.
The biobibliographic index reflects learned works, editorial works, certificates of authorship on inventions and patents, as well as the literature on the scientist.
The founders of the resource express their thanks to collaborators of the library of the Institute of inorganic chemistry of SB RAS for the given materials on the bibliography of A.V.Nikolaev.
Catalogues, stocks, and electronic resources of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS (including the databases "Scientific-and-educational complex of Novosibirsk" and "Science in Siberia and in the Far East") and of the library of the Institute of inorganic chemistry of SB RAS, as well as the Internet resources have been used while working on the biobibliography.
Materials of the index are arranged chronologically in two basic sections: "Index of works of A.V.Nikolaev" and "Literature on his life and work".
The sources that we failed to see de visu have been marked by an asterisk *. Standard abbreviation are used over the index.
