Academician Feodor Andreevich Kuznetsov is an outstanding physico-chemist, specialist in material science, and a talented organizer of science. Under his guide, his school developed numerous methods for chemical precipitation from gas phase, a great work has been performed in physicochemical support of the research, in-depth analysis of running processes, in development of technologies of microelectronic objects.

Since 1983 to 2005, F.A.Kuznetsov held the position of the director of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, he is presently a counselor of RAS. Feodor Andreevich combines his research with active pedagogical activity in Novosibirsk state university, where he is in charge of a sub-faculty.

F.A.Kuznetsov has made very much in Siberian branch of RAS as regards the organization of joint scientific research, strengthening and development of international bonds, especially with Indian, Japanese, and South-Korean scientists. His high reputation as researcher and organizer made for his election as a nominee for the position of the president of Asian-Pacific academy of materials.

The electronic resource that is devoted to the life and work of academician F.A.Kuznetsov consists of a biobibliographic index, tables of contents of monographs and collection issues, of full texts of certain works of the scientist, and publications about him. The biobibliographic index reflects proceedings, editorial works, certificates of authorship on inventions and patents, publicistic articles, and public speeches, as well as the literature on the scientist.

When working on the biobibliography, we used catalogues, stocks, and electronic resources of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS (including the databases "Scientific-and-educational complex of Novosibirsk" and "Science in Siberia and in the Far East") and those of the library of A.V.Nikolaev Institute of Inorganic Chemistry of SB RAS, as well as Internet resources.

Materials of the index are arranged chronologically in two basic sections: "Index of works of F.A.Kuznetsov" and "Literature on the life and work".
