Academician Samson Syemyenovich Kutatyeladzye (1914-1986) is the largest expert in the field of thermophysics, hydrodynamics of the gas-liquid systems, in new problems of power industry. The basic works of S.S.Kutateladze deal with the development of heat exchange, with the theory of a turbulent boundary layer, hydrodynamics of gas-liquid systems, problems of physical simulation. He has created one of the leading scientific schools in the field of thermophysics and hydro gas dynamics. Most part of the scientific findings of S.S.Kutateladze is brought to the engineering calculation formulae that are included into manuals and reference books.

S.S.Kutateladze is one of the founders, and since 1964, is the director of the Institute of thermophysics, the head of the sub-faculty of thermophysics in NSU. He was involved in the Great Patriotic war of the USSR; he was in the Northern front. He has been rewarded with many state and international awards; he is the Hero of Socialist Labour.

He has written the total of 20 monographs that were issued in more than 30 editions, and more than 300 articles. His books were repeatedly translated and published in the USA, England, and in other countries.

S.S.Kutateladze was a member of editorial boards of the magazines "Applied mechanics and technical physics ", "Thermophysics of high temperatures"; he was a member of editorial council of "Engineering-physical Journal".

The electronic resource that is devoted to his life and work is composed of biobibliographic index, tables of contents of monographs and collection issues, full texts of certain works of the scientist, and publications about him.

The biobibliographic index reflects proceedings, editorial works, certificates of authorship on inventions and patents, publicistic articles, as well as the literature on the scientist.

The founders of the resource express their thanks to Pavel Anatolyevich Kuybin, scientific secretary of the S.S.Kutateladze Institute of thermophysics of SB RAS, for the given materials to the biobibliography of the scientist and thank collaborators of the library of the Institute of thermophysics for the aid in working on the index of works.

When working on the biobibliography, we used catalogues, stocks, and electronic resources of the State Public Scientific Technical Library of SB RAS (including the databases "Scientific-and-educational complex of Novosibirsk" and "the Science in Siberia and in the Far East") and the library of the S.S.Kutateladze Institute of thermophysics of SB RAS, as well as Internet resources.

Materials of the index are arranged chronologically in two basic sections: "Index of works of S.S.Kutateladze" and "Literature on his life and work".
