- Since July, 27 in the Patent reading room "Collection of New Books in Inventors Work" is exhibited. More than 30 books, recieved by Patent fund in the first half of 1998 are represented.
- On June 25 at 10.00 in the Patent reading room the seminar for patent specialists"New Technologies in Patent Information" took place. Program of the seminar.
In 1998 Sector of Patent Documents is preparing a seminar for business men "All about Intellectual Property".
In the seminar, the following specialists will take part: Maryasova Olga Nikolayevna, patent attorney of RF, consultant in patent field of the Branch, Lukina Lyudmila Mirzaagayevna, patent lawyer, Novikova Natalya Vasilyevna, Chief of the Sector of Business Information of SPSL SB RAS, Degtyareva Lyubov Arsentyevna, Chief of the Sector of Patent Documents of the Branch.
The participants of the seminar will have an opportunity to discuss the problems of contractual connections, from presenting of claim up to patent concession, patent strategy in Russia and abroad, questions of informational support of patent research. Search of patent and business information in the Internet and Data Base "Patents of Russia" will be demonstrated. Ask the questions by telephone 330-61-86.
- Since June 5, topical exhibitions "History of Inventions and Patent Work" and "Activities of Patent Offices at Contemporary Stage"are demonstrated. 48 items of Russian and foreign books and papers are exhibited there
- On May 7, topical exhibition "Protection of Trademarks, Service Marks and Places of Articles Origination"was opened. About 45 books and papers are exhibited.
