Stocks of the Memorial library include approx. 4 thousand books and about 300 titles of journals in Russian and foreign languages. Valyentin Afanas'yevich's books on chemistry, ecology, sustainable development share the space on the shelves with the literature donated to Koptyug by his colleagues and students. Half thousand of folders with miscellaneous documents are of great price here. Those include manuscripts, newspaper cut-outs, meeting protocols and others and they were collected by the scientist during his entire scientific and social life. These materials help picture the development of Siberian Branch of Academy of Science, the growth of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok and all siberian science.
