| In May-June, 2007, the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences has celebrated its 50th anniversary. A series of books has been published to this date. They are devoted to the history of the formative stage and development of the Branch, to outstanding scientists of Siberia, as well as to the memoirs of old residents of the Novosibirsk Akademgorodok. We represent the full-text versions of these publications that disclose in detail the anniversary path of the Siberian science. |

A 200-year fieldwork of the Academy of sciences on the study of Siberia is considered in the book.
