On November, 19, 2000 a centenary has passed since the birth of academician M.A.Lavryent'yev, prominent scientist, organizer of Siberian branch of Academy of Sciences of USSR. By this date, Branch of SPSL SB RAS
prepared electronic version of biobibliography index,
published in 1985 by the library of Hydrodynamics institute SB RAS together with SPSL.
Besides, there has been prepared index supplement for 1985-2000.
Index contains scientist's works, publications concerning his life and work. Editing of electronic index (including printed version rearrangement according to the new rules of bibliography records
in GOST 7.1-84) performed by principal librarian of the Branch K.I.Yolkina.
Biobibliography of M.A.Lavryent'yev is to be added and developed.
Presented index can be of help in book exhibitions organizing, lavryent'yev's readings held, and other jubilee actions.
FROM THE EDITORS OF PRINTED PUBLICATION (1985)
Mikhail Alyeksyeyevich Lavryent'yev (1900-1980) - prominent soviet scientist, academician, founder of Siberian branch of USSR Academy of Sciences.
Index, devoted to his life and productive work, reflects the scientific articles, editor issues, summaries, publicistic articles and speeches, and also literature about him.
Body of this index comprises two main sections: «Chronology index of M.A.Lavryent'yev works», «Literature about M.A.Lavryent'yev activity».
First section, in the frames of a year, arranges publications in the following order
monographies; articles from books, works, and collection-volumes; articles from journals; articles from newspapers; foreign language works; editor
works.
Section «Literature about M.A.Lavryent'yev activity» holds the following order: acts of awards, books and articles from books, articles from scientific journals, articles from social-politic
and popular scientific magazines, newspaper articles. Final part concentrates publications, devoted to M.A.Lavryent'yev memory.
Auxiliary reference set consists of alphabetic works index; names index, including second name of coauthors, authors of books edited and reviewed, authors of works about the scientist,
personals; list of abbreviations.
While editing of index, available bibliography sources were utilized, specifically issues of the series «Matyerialy k biobibliografii uchyenykh SSSR» (see. N 576), catalogs and card indexes
of SPSL SB AS USSR and library of Hydrodynamics institute SB AS USSR.
